GG Spotlight - Salma Hayek

The Grizzly’s Spotlight: Salma Hayek

This Mexican beauty decided to become an actress after seeing Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory at the theater. This alone makes her one of the coolest women in the industry! Salma began her career starring in a Spanish soap opera, but the first roles I noticed her in were that of Santanico Pandemonium (Esmeralda) in From Dusk Till Dawn and Nurse Harper in the Faculty; two of my favorite movies of all time. She is not only gorgeous, but in every interview I’ve seen her in, she is very funny and witty. And everyone knows that a girl with a sense of humor is far sexier than just a pretty face. This week we honor Salma Hayek in all her Spanish glory!

Upcoming…

Salma Hayek is in a movie coming to theaters October 12th titled Here Comes the Boom. She stars alongside Kevin James who wants to become an MMA fighter to help raise money for the school he teaches in. This looks like another “nothing is on TV so throw this on in the background while I do something else” movie. However, the sequel to Grown Ups is in post-production and is said to release July 12th 2013. I actually loved the first one. I know that I might get made fun of for this, but I am actually excited to see it! And finally, Sweet Spot is in pre-production. This is a movie about a former Yankees baseball star who tries to keep his career going in the Mexican Baseball League.

And for the Eye Candy…
