The Grizzly’s Spotlight: Ruth Wilson

One of my favorite characters on TV is Luther’s Alice Morgan, played by none other than Ruth Wilson. Well, now Ms. Wilson is about to make a splash across the pond in Disney’s The Lone Ranger. And while I don’t have high hopes for the movie itself, I’m sure she will be excellent in it.

The Grizzly’s Spotlight: Emilia Clarke

Emilia Clarke is one of the most naturally beautiful actresses I have ever seen. She is a favorite of mine because she is the mother of dragons, Daenerys Targaryen in the HBO series Game of Thrones. Emilia is only 25 years old, and has already become one of the most loved ladies in television. Although she hasn’t been in many productions yet, with her outstanding talent and her classic, timeless beauty, Emilia Clarke deserved this prestigious honor!

The Grizzly’s Spotlight: Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer Lawrence is awesome. There’s no other way to describe her rather than that she is probably the coolest kid at the Hollywood table right now. Yes, she’s super beautiful and gorgeous (hence the flood of pictures we’re about to unleash below for your eye candy). Yes, she’s probably one of the best actresses out there now (two Academy Award nominations and one win and only 22?). And of course, she happens to come off as one of the most down to Earth people out there (see YouTube videos below). Y’know what else she is? Our Grizzly Girl of the Week. For someone who does not get too caught up in the Hollywood fame and never seems to strain to become some marketable image and just plays it straight, she comes off as the girl next door that you’d have a beer with. And maybe ask to marry you. Just saying.

The Grizzly’s Spotlight: Salma Hayek

This Mexican beauty decided to become an actress after seeing Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory at the theater. This alone makes her one of the coolest women in the industry! Salma began her career starring in a Spanish soap opera, but the first roles I noticed her in were that of Santanico Pandemonium (Esmeralda) in From Dusk Till Dawn and Nurse Harper in the Faculty; two of my favorite movies of all time. She is not only gorgeous, but in every interview I’ve seen her in, she is very funny and witty. And everyone knows that a girl with a sense of humor is far sexier than just a pretty face. This week we honor Salma Hayek in all her Spanish glory!

The Grizzly’s Spotlight: Rachel Bilson

Rachel Bilson gave hope to all geeks out there as Summer Roberts from the underrated show The O.C. The fact that Seth Cohen could get this beauty to fall for him and be the perfect compliment to his personality and demeanor made it okay to love comic books, video games, and ironic t-shirts and still be able to get a girl like Summer to dress up in a Wonder Woman costume for you on Christmas.

The Grizzly’s Spotlight: Demi Moore

Please do not let the fact that this Grizzly Girl is about a half of a century old fool you. Overcoming whats been described as a fairly rough childhood, Demi quit school at 16 and became a pinup girl in Europe. When she was 19, Moore got a regular spot on General Hospital and a career in film wasn’t far behind. During the 1980s she became part of the famousĀ Brat Pack and started picking up staring roles in movies. In 1987 she became half of one of Hollywood’s power couples when she married Bruce Willis. Since their split in 2000, she’s become the standard for all cougars, established in 2oo5 when she started nailing Ashton Kutcher – a move we all thought would end with Willis beating Kutcher to death on Punk’d...
