Let me start by saying, I really enjoyed the first 2 X-Movies, especially X2 which I’d put among my ‘Top Ten Comic Movies’ for sure. What Brett Ratner did with X3 however, and the terrible Wolverine movie that followed, inexcusable. Coming off of those 2 colossal disappointments I have to admit my expectations were severely lowered going into First Class. But what Matthew Vaughn delivered, well, it’s fully restored my faith in the franchise.

Batman: Arkham City – Catwoman Revealed
It’s time for some huge Batman: Arkham City news, so prepare yourself. Now we all knew that Catwoman was going to feature heavily in the game, but nobody was sure exactly how she would fit in.
We first saw her as the typical damsel in distress with Two-Face hanging her over a giant vat of acid, and it was assumed this was a mission for Batman to rescue his sometimes lady love. With the release of the latest trailer, we learn that her involvement in the game is much more hands on.
Mortal Kombat: Legacy – Episodes 7 & 8
The moment most MK fans have been waiting for has arrived. Throughout this series I have mostly been enjoying the revised look at some of my favorite MK characters. But I’ve been waiting patiently for two of my faves to meet in an epic battle.
So here it is, in 2 parts so you get double the pleasure. Finally we get to see Scorpion & Sub-Zero, ninja’s of the highest order who have been kicking ass in every single MK game ever made, the only other character to accomplish this feat being Raiden.
Vintage Reviews: The Black Cat
The Black Cat (aka The House of Doom) is one of the Universal horror movies from the 1930’s, and stars two of the greatest names in horror: Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi. Unlike the more classic horror films that Universal made around this time – such as Dracula, Frankenstein, The Mummy and The Invisible Man – The Black Cat is much less known – even though it was Universal’s biggest hit in 1934.
