James Gunn Gives Us a Look at Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

What a time it is to be a nerd right now. Movies and new comic books are popping up left and right, and it’s all getting really hard to keep track of. With the new year came a flood of marketing and campaigning for movies that are set to release in 2016; Deadpool, Suicide Squad, BVS Dawn of Justiceetc. What I’m saying is, I don’t blame you if some of the 2017 features aren’t at the forefront of your mind right now. Director James Gunn however, would like to change that. That’s why when he went on social media and gave us some behind the scenes snapshots of the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy sequel.

Announced via twitter, the sequel will simply be called Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

And a full cast list will be revealed “very soon.”

These are all exciting developments for the highly anticipated sequel. Guardians of the Galaxy really shocked a lot of people due to how incredible it was, and being that it came from a lesser known comic. We probably won’t get to see a trailer until the end of the year, (maybe at Comic Con? A girl can dream) but it’s really nice to see a director excited about his movie and willing to share some things here and there with the fans.
