I’m a 29-year-old, Ex-Video Store Clerk, burdened with undying loyalty to the Detroit Lions, so I can sympathize with people who stay in abusive relationships. I also have an unhealthy obsession with The Batman, which causes many people to not take me seriously. I formerly spent near 2 years writing for Bam Kapow, and was the controlling force and editor behind the site for a better part of my time there. I am now also writing for a certain magazine which will relaunch in June…

The Force isn’t real. Middle Earth doesn’t exist. There is no Gotham, no Metropolis, not even a Coast City where superheroes abound. There is no such thing as an autonomous robotic organism that can shift into any type of vehicle. No such thing as a Jedi, Sith, or a lightsaber. But you do have to admit, life would be a lot more fun if those things did exist. Thank God for movies and books to capture these things and keep pumping life into our imaginations.

Comics. Movies. TV. Video Games. Writing. These are my passions. This is what I love to do. I did it at Bam!Kapow! (where I was Asst. Editor for Doc), I did it at SupaScoot’s Action News, and now I do it here at Grizzly Bomb. I like to argue my point, share my opinion, and write at lengths about myself and the things I love. I also write for the superhero blog The Urban 30, which you should check out immediately. I’m bringing to the fold my love for almost anything nerd related, as well as my degrading personal hygiene and unskilled writing styles. My love of Spider-Man, Kevin Smith, cartoons, Playstation 3 and everything else mentioned above will become evident to everyone, and I can’t wait to see what we can all accomplish on this site together. I have an undying need to write all of the time, whether it be in a journal or on the interwebz. I suppose I am a typical woman in the sense that I assume everyone wants to know what I have to say. Well, my friends, here it goes. I am 23. I graduated at the top of my class from Specs Howard School for Radio concentration when I was 20. I worked promotions for 89x Radio station for almost two years. I did event planning/executing for a local college. I have a deep passion for entertainment. I know too much about music in general. I am knowledgeable about video games because of my old job and my experience. I have a very obscure taste in movies. I am a little odd. I like me that way.

Some people describe Daniel Woizinski as a genius, a hero and an all-around handsome dude. To them I say, “You’re thinking of Batman.” I’m just some jackass from Canada who writes about him a lot on the internet. I wrote about him for a short while on Bam Kapow with Scoot and Doc, I wrote about him on my own blog, and now I write about him on Grizzly Bomb. I also write about TV, movies and video games. When I’m not wondering what the hell a Grizzly Bomb actually is (Seriously Doc, what the hell?) I’m usually trying to be funny on Twitter.

I am probably what one might refer to as the diversity part of the group. As evidenced in the banner – The use of my picture, the Philippine flag, and ninjas just shows how awesomely Asian I am. Obviously I stand out amongst Kronner’s and my group of friends, and living in a town with a scant percentage of Asians according to the 2010 census. In terms of standing out, went to The Ohio State University after high school in Michigan, I drive Toyotas all around the Detroit area, and The O.C. is one of the my favorite TV shows. Also ran karaokerevolution.net before the backlash of the music game came about. Also I attended the Snoop Dogg Penthouse party for the Super Bowl in Detroit. Okay the last thing was just there to brag. So how did I get involved with Kronner? We bonded over the arcade game Police Trainer at some stop on the way to DC for our 8th Grade middle school trip, so I assume that is the main catalyst and reason for why I am allowed to write for the site today. That and I have a picture of Kronner declaring his gayness on a Cedar Point ride. Which is also why I get away with never meeting my writing deadlines. Details, details I guess.

As you can probably guess from the big Union Jack in the picture above, I’m British. From Yorkshire in fact. I’m also a big geek and a tomboy, and have been since I was born. I have a deep love for the strange, surreal and weird shit in general. My favourite films include old SF B-movies, dodgy horror films and seriously odd ones. I admit that the only comic book I read on a regular basis is The Beano. But others that I like include Madman, Lenore, Halo Jones, Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, Fred the Clown, and Barry Ween – Boy Genius. The greatest Tv programme in the world ever is Doctor Who – and if anyone wants to argue with me about it I can come around and beat the living crap out of them. I also like clowns.
