RLJE has released the first trailer for Adam Egypt Mortimer’s Archenemy which finds Joe Manganiello plays an alcoholic and homeless character who may or may not be a hero from another dimension.
Manganiello is Max Fist (what a name!), a man who tells people that he’s actually a hero from another dimension who fell through time and space to our world, where he conveniently happens to be powerless. Unsurprisingly, almost no-one believes him, with the exception of Hamster, a teenager who wants to help Fist continue to be a hero. Together, they take to the streets to wipe out the local drug syndicate and its vicious crime boss known as The Manager.

When a top-secret weapon falls into mercenary hands, wild card CIA agent Mason “Mace” Brown (Jessica Chastain) will need to join forces with rival badass German agent Marie (Diane Kruger), former MI6 ally, and cutting-edge computer specialist Khadijah (Lupita Nyong’o), and skilled Colombian psychologist Graciela (Penélope Cruz) on a lethal, breakneck mission to retrieve it, while also staying one step ahead of a mysterious woman, Lin Mi Sheng (Fan Bingbing), who’s tracking their every move. As the action rockets around the globe from the cafes of Paris to the markets of Morocco to the wealth & glamour of Shanghai, the quartet of women will forge a tenuous loyalty that could protect the world—or get them killed.
Amazon just debuted the full trailer for Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan *gasps for air*, the filmed-in-secret sequel to 2006’s Borat starring Sacha Baron Cohen and directed by Larry Charles.
The film, again, follows Borat Sagdiyev who returns to America after quite some time. Directed by Jason Woliner, the sequel plays with the idea that Borat is now recognizable and even with him putting on various disguises his popularity has also still not reached some parts of the country. We see full-on Borat quarantining with some those who would most likely still not recognize the comedian’s most famous creation as he hangs with some less-than-liberal folks.
Check out the trailer for Borat 2 (we can’t keep typing out that whole title) below:
“The people here, they’re born here, they die here.”
Netflix has released the official The Haunting of Bly Manor trailer for Mike Flanagan’s follow-up to the acclaimed horror-anthology series The Haunting of Hill House.
The second season is based on Henry James’ The Turn of the Screw, which centers around a young governess charged with teaching two orphans in a grand manor as a duo of ghosts torment her. The horror is in the unknown. Are spirits real — or is the woman simply going mad? The young governess is who narrates the story but Flanagan revealed that the season will actually adapt dozens of James’ horror stories, in addition to The Turn of the Screw.
Check out the first trailer for The Haunting of Bly Manor below, which showcases a slow piano version to the melody of Mötley Crüe’s 1985 song “Home Sweet Home”:

Disney+ has released the first trailer for WandaVision. We were expecting The Falcon and the Winter Soldier as the first live-action MCU series to hit Disney’s streaming service, but the pandemic shuffled that up a bit, and instead, we’re getting this trippy take on Elizabeth Olsen‘s Wanda, aka Scarlet Witch, and Paul Bettany‘s Vision.
WandaVision marks the first series from Marvel Studios streaming exclusively on Disney+. The series is a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision—two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.
Check out the new trailer below, which debuted at the 72nd Primetime Emmys:
In addition to Olsen and Bettany, WandaVision will also star Mad Men and If Beale Street Could Talk actress Teyonah Parris as an adult version of Monica Rambeau, a character who was introduced as a child in Captain Marvel. Kat Dennings and Randall Park will also reprise their MCU roles as Darcy Lewis and FBI agent Jimmy Woo, respectively, in the Disney Plus series. Jac Schaeffer, who was a screenwriter on Captain Marvel, will write, produce and act as a showrunner on the series.
As for the trailer itself, what do we get here? Well, it’s hard to tell. This is looking like one of the more trippy scenarios in the MCU. Kathryn Hahn makes a brief appearance, and she acknowledges the fact that Vision is dead. Are we going to get a mix of existential riffing along with some meta pop-culture references (note how the series takes on many classic TV shows of the past like I Love Lucy, The Dick Van Dyke Show, Bewitched, The Brady Bunch and so many others)? We also get some more fun shots like Paul Bettany dressed up in a cheap Halloween costume version of Vision from Marvel Comics. Also, keep your eyes peeled because if you blink you might miss Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau.
Check out the poster for the series as well:
We should expect WandaVision sometime before the end of 2020.
