Review: Smallville – Season 10/Series Finale

It took a few minutes to sink in before I realized that it was the last time I would hear the Smallville theme song playing at the beginning of a new episode because tonight it happened: the series finale. I’ve been with the show many years, through the highs and the lows. Of course there were going to be terrible episodes I would despise over the course of the show and certain directions they took continuity that I don’t agree with but Smallville still remains one of my favorite shows of all time after ten seasons.

The episode opens with Chloe telling a child a story and then flashes back seven years earlier with Apokolips inexorably heading towards Earth…then the typical commercial break and theme song opening as I wait in anticipation!

Wonder Woman in Danger: NBC Passes on Pilot

It’s sad to say that NBC has decided to pass on the pilot to the new Wonder Woman series. It seemed like a mess from the start. I remember many of my colleagues didn’t mind the costume and I myself though she should have had the original star spangled underpants. Hell, NBC probably would have picked the pilot up they had use that costume.

And BOOM that's a wrap!

But instead the series is effectively dead unless a miracle happens and it manages to air elsewhere. However that does not seem to be in the cards as NBC was their last option according to Spinoff Online:

Two and a Half Men: Ashton Kutcher To Replace Charlie Sheen

It would appear after all of the searching and rumors swirling around for the replacement of that tool-bag Charlie Sheen are finally coming to an end. Deadline reports that Ashton Kutcher, who had a brief and decidedly crappy movie career, will now be returning to his small screen roots with Two and a Half Men.

I for one had just hoped that it would end the show with Sheen leaving, because I’m almost positive he was the only reason people watched it but I’m not a big fan anyways. Here’s a snippet from Deadline:

Review: South Park – Season 15, Episode 3 ‘Royal Pudding’

It was only a matter of time before Parker and Stone ripped on the Royal Wedding at some point. They did it in this episode through the spoof of a Royal Canadian wedding and as we all know they have no problem with ripping the Canadian people.

It opens with a play being put on by the little ones of South Park elementary and Ike who plays “Tooth Decay” in the dental themed performance is missing from practice because he is too busy watching the Royal Canadian Wedding. The wedding scene was humorous enough with a lot of queefing as the Princess was taken away in a cube through the ceiling.

Rachel Weisz Joining The Bourne Legacy?

It would Rachel Weisz is on quite a roll and is definitely in demand these days. Not only will she possibly be starring with James Franco and Mila Kunis in Sam Raimi’s take on the Wizard of Oz, but now it appears that she is in talks to be the Bourne franchise’s newest cast member alongside Jeremy Renner.

Camelot Review: Episode 6 – “Three Journeys”

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I need something big to actually happen on Camelot. It seems like we’ve had too much set up and not enough pay off. I for one don’t really care about a story of Merlin, Leontes, Gawain and Kay on a mission to retrieve Kay’s father’s books from their old home. But that is what we were treated to and it sucked epically. I don’t mind the character development one bit and I really enjoyed the scene where Leontes and Merlin had a civil debate about their different ideologies. But the whole episode just felt like filler.
