Legends Of Tomorrow Travels Through Comic History

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow started off with a bang, but is this only the proverbial tip of the iceberg?

The ability to time jump means the potential to explore everything form the golden age of comics to the new 52, and everything in between. Stephan Amell of Arrow fame, the one who started it all, will appear in the new spin off, but not until the end of season one.  Marc Guggenheim, the shows executive producer, was quoted by Entertainment Weekly as saying;

New Justice League Coming to Cartoon Network; Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill Reprising Roles

As had been teased a few months back, Cartoon Network today announced that the Justice League is returning to the airwaves for an ongoing series Called Justice League Action. As if that wasn’t enough, the iconic voice of Batman, Kevin Conroy — who pioneered the role in Batman: The Animated Series — is back to do it again.

HBO’s Westworld Halts Production

HBO has temporarily halted production on its long-gestating television adaptation of Westworld, claiming that writers/executive producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy need more time to fine tune the final four scripts for the series’ first season.

The project is closing down for two months so that Nolan and Joy can catch up on the final four scripts. Westworld was first ordered to series in November 2014, and fans got a first look video from the series back in August. The series was originally set to premiere during the last quarter of 2015, but was pushed to an unspecified date of 2016. Now with the halted production, that premiere is looking closer to early 2017.

11.23.63: First Trailer For Hulu Series From J.J. Abrams and Stephen King

This February will mark the premiere of Hulu’s first big original drama 11.22.63, and they have released the first trailer. With its Back To The Future vibe (sans the comedy and whimsy), this Stephen King/J.J. Abrams co-production is an odd choice for the small screen, but one the entire production team feels confident about.

We were given a small tease in the form of production stills via J.J. Abrams’ company Bad Robot, but we now have our first trailer.
