San Diego Comic-Con is only a few days away, but already we have new photos from some of the most anticipated movies of this year that will no doubt be making big splashes at SDCC. These movies will all have panels there (for anyone going, the times of the panels are included below) so expect to see even more information trickle down to us through the next week or so. For now look at what the new photos have to offer (thanks to Entertainment Weekly and Total Film for getting these great images and the times the panels are showing at the con).

Grizzly’s Casting Couch: ‘Justice League’
Man of Steel has proven itself to be a commercial success, if not entirely a critical one. But to the eyes of the studios it did exactly what it set out to do, which is make money. The sequel was officially greenlit before the film even came out, and the future of DC’s Cinematic Universe began to develop.
We were already working under the assumption that the recently ‘confirmed’ Justice League was dependent on the success of Superman’s big reboot, and since that went swimmingly it’s time to start looking forward. While we would still have a few years to wait for Justice League, we can start casting our dream team right now!
Ben Schwartz Returns to ‘Parks and Recreation’; Kristen Bell to Guest
Veronica Mars star Kristen Bell is scheduled, along with House of Lies Co-star Ben Schwartz, to pop up for a few episodes next season on Parks and Recreation. Schwartz will obviously be reprising a role he’s been shining in since the shows second season, the hilarious Jean-Ralphio. As Jean-Ralphio he is sure to annoy Ron Swanson and make life a little harder for his best friend Tom Haverford.

‘Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel’ Coming to DisneyXD in August
If you haven’t seen the Disney cartoon, Phineas and Ferb before, a little intro…
Phineas and Ferb are brothers, stepbrothers actually. Ferb’s Dad married Phineas’ Mom. They have a sister, Candace. The show takes place over summer break, and the brothers set out each day to do something spectacular. These spectacular things often are truly amazing such as the time they built a roller coaster through the entire town. Mom and Dad are completely oblivious to their doings, which chaps Candace’s ass something fierce. They have a pet platypus, Perry, who is actually a secret agent and spends his days escaping the boys and trying to take down the evil Dr. Doofenschmirtz.
For a children’s cartoon, it is incredibly well done with writing that is smart enough that an adult, like myself, can watch without wanting to jump out a window of a tall building like pretty much every other cartoon geared towards children. It is actually quite entertaining and available on Netflix so if you were looking for another show to get sucked into, Phineas and Ferb is a good one.
All that being said, why on Earth am I writing about Phineas and Ferb here on Grizzly Bomb? Well, here’s the thing. Phineas and Ferb are teaming up with our favorite Marvel characters in Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel.
[box_dark]In Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Thor and Hulk stand powerless after being struck by Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s power-draining “inator.” Once the Marvel Super Villains – Red Skull, Whiplash, Venom and M.O.D.O.K. – find out that Dr. Doofenshmirtz is responsible for robbing the Super Heroes of their powers, they seek him out and together create mayhem in Danville. Meanwhile, Phineas and Ferb do everything they can to restore the Super Heroes’ powers before the evil villains take over the world[/box_dark]
Despite it being well over three years since Walt Disney Co. purchased Marvel in January of 2010, this is the first time the two franchises have met up on screen.
Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel will air on August 16th at 8 EST on Disney and Disney XD.
