War And Peace: Check Out The Restoration Trailer For This Russian Epic

In anticipation of its exclusive run at the Film Society of Lincoln Center from February 15-21, Janus Films premiered the trailer for Sergey Bondarchuk’s Restored epic War And Peace. Winner of the 1969 Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film, Bondarchuk’s War And Peace sets the changing fortunes of several aristocratic families against the backdrop of Napoleon’s invasion of Russia.

An Elephant Sitting Still: US Trailer Showcases Hu Bo’s Beautiful Swan Song

KimStim and the Film Society of Lincoln Center have released a trailer for Hu Bo’s final film, An Elephant Sitting Still. The film follows Wei Bu, a young Chinese man who injures a school bully and subsequently is drawn to the city of Manzhouli, where an elephant is said to sit still all day. Along the way, the young man meets another classmate, an older neighbor, and the bully’s older brother.

The Hole In The Ground Trailer Teases One The First Great Horror Movies Of 2019!

A24 has released a new official trailer for the indie horror film The Hole in the Ground. The film is the feature debut of Irish director Lee Cronin, and is set on the fringes of a backwoods rural town. The Irish horror film premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival earlier this month to glowing reviews.

Birds of Prey: First Teaser Reveals Colorful Direction Set to Haunting Music

We’re still more than a year out from the release of Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn), but we’ve already got a teaser and a new picture directly from star Margot Robbie.

The short 20-second teaser is set to Moderat’s “A New Error,” which could be an ominous sign of things to come, or a playful jab at fans who consider Suicide Squad  – the last movie to star Harley Quinn – to have been one big mistake.  Either way, this video doesn’t give much away in terms of dialogue or story, but it does show some quick flashes of the players.

Color Out of Space: H.P. Lovecraft and Nicolas Cage, Together At Last

In the next step of the bizarre and steadily busy acting career of Nicolas Cage, it was announced today that he would be joining Color Out Of Space, officially adding an H.P. Lovecraft story to his lengthy resume.

The story, which was first published by Lovecraft in a 1927 issue of Amazing Stories, and told the story of a meteorite that crashed to Earth and started poisoning the nearby area. Plant life grew large but tasted odd, animals developed abnormalities, and people were driven to insanity.
