While not much is revealed in the image, we do learn a bit more about what kinds of ghosts will need to be busted in the upcoming sequel, which you can check out after the jump.
Yes, I know, we’ve all seen the set pics of the new team over the last few months. But this is the first OFFICIAL look at the new Ghostbusters film, and it’s actually pretty awesome for not really showing anything. See for yourself!
Buying presents for friends and family at Christmas time can be tricky. Each person wants something unique and it can be tricky to get just the right gift. This can be even harder when your pal is a diehard horror nut. But don’t worry, Grizzly Bomb has you covered with this selection of collectible releases.
There are some old favorites here as well as some new sellers. Though not all of them are festive based, they are sure to bring a smile to any horror fan on Christmas day.
Ghostbusters fans have been on a roller coaster of emotions the last few years with rumors of a potential third film, and now the ride has reached a new level. Next year’s Ghostbusters reboot has fans cautiously optimistic, because it may be amazing. But what if it’s terrible?
With Halloween fast approaching, Grizzly Bomb has dusted off the keyboard and delved deep into the crypts of the world-wide web to dig out some really unique, fun and creepy horror creations made by independent artists with a very unique style.
This collection of artistic creation is all neatly bundled together for you, giving you a visual guided tour of some of the web’s coolest creations.
Ever since I was a kid, my Father and I never had the easiest time connecting with each other. However, there were a few things that we could instantly bond over and discuss at length, such as food, comics, and movies. Ghostbusters was one of those movies, and remains a favorite in his household and mine.
Seth MacFarlane has been quite the busy bee as of late. Not only is he working on A Million Ways to Die in the West (coming May 30th 2014…hopefully) and executive producing the return of Cosmos, he also has another movie in the works. He confirmed on Twitter recently that he has an idea of the release date for the sequel to his hit raunchy comedy Ted. Collider had this quote from Seth who said:
It’s Comic Con and you know what that means right? Loads of new collectibles! Mattie Collector (the collector’s branch of Mattel) has already started the ball rolling on their Facebook page with a big collection of Master of the Universe figures and a few other surprises along the way.
Firstly let us look at the solo figure of the bunch, The Comedian figure from the iconic graphic novel Watchman. This design is based on the comic rather than the movie (which had its own line of figures a few years back). It looks fantastic and I am hoping that we are going to see a lot more of these coming in the next few days.
Next up is the life sized collectibles from Ghostbusters and the Adam West Batman series. These include a full size utility belt from Batman, along a trap and Neutrino Wand. Now thanks to The Examiner we know the rod will cost about $130, but no prices on the other items quite yet. That’s a pretty awesome price for something of that quality and who among us would not want to pretend to be a Ghostbuster or the Caped Crusader for the day? Well, here is your chance.
Last but not least is the reissuing of some of the classic Master of the Universe lines of toys (seen below). The End of Wars pack has a ton of weapons and spare parts and also comes with your very own Kowl figurine from She-Ra. We also have some old favorites like Rattler, Roboto, and Trap Jaw all making an appearance mixed in with some more obscure characters like Nepthu. We also get to see some pretty fantastic looking vehicles like The Jet Sled with its pilot Sky High. My favorite out of the bunch has to be the inclusion of the Rock Men, who were some of my favorite toys as a kid. Lord knows why a bunch of transforming rocks held so much appeal to me when I had Transformer toys to play with, but that’s the way it was.

Fanshare.com is reporting that Bill Murray is now back on board for Ghostbusters 3 after years of saying he was not. Harold Ramis spoke to SuperOfficialNews.com and said:
“It was kind of crazy. Just out of nowhere, I get a phone call from Bill at almost three in the morning… and he simply said, ‘Yeah, Ok, I’m in!'
Co-Writer Paul Horner has also said this
“Word through the grapevine was that Murray enjoyed reading our script that was passed along to him a few months ago. As for if he was going to be a part of it, well that was the million-dollar question. The writers, the cast, the fans… Everyone is truly excited for this to have finally all come together.”
So how does everyone feel about this? I just wish they would make their mind up to be honest. It would be amazing news that Bill might want to be back in the grays and strap on his photon pack one more time. I just don’t know if I actually believe this or not. How many times have we seen articles like this since the Ghostbuster 3 news was announced? Two? Three? 458? I have lost count. Call me a pessimist, but I will truly believe it when I actually see set shots.
Bill is a bit of a cheeky chap when it comes to committing to this and the great news is that he actually approves of the script so at least you would think he will be happy doing it. Now what us Ghostbuster‘s fans want to know is has this script got the magic form the first film? It has been a long time since Ghostbusters 2 came out and even longer since the first one. Can the team get it together, can they make us believe that busting makes us feel good. I certainly hope so, and this is a step in the right direction for sure.
For anyone wondering if Bill can still fire up the pack, just rewatch the classic scene from Zombieland or at the 2010 Scream awards and watch Bill at work….
