Doom Patrol Season 2 Trailer: The Superhero Weirdos Are Back On HBO Max

The first season of Doom Patrol launched on the streaming platform, DC Universe. As the second season is now launching on HBO Max, the unlikely superhero team is looking to reach a larger audience.

Following the defeat of Mr. Nobody, the members of the Doom Patrol now find themselves mini-sized and stranded on Cliff’s toy race car track. Here they begin to deal with their feelings of betrayal by Niles Caulder a.k.a. the Chief, while confronting their own personal baggage. And as each member faces the challenge of growing beyond their own past traumatic experiences, they must come together to embrace and protect the newest member of the family: Dorothy Spinner, Niles’ daughter, whose powers remain a mysterious but real threat to bringing on the end of the world.

Bill & Ted 3: Face the Music First Trailer – Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter are Back!

Orion Pictures have released the long-awaited first trailer for the highly-anticipated sequel Bill & Ted 3: Face the Music. The Wyld Stallyns have finally returned!

The stakes are higher than ever for the time-traveling exploits of William “Bill” S. Preston Esq. and Theodore “Ted” Logan. Yet to fulfill their rock and roll destiny, the now middle-aged best friends set out on a new adventure when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it. Along the way, they will be helped by their daughters, a new batch of historical figures, and a few music legends – to seek the song that will set their world right and bring harmony in the universe. And always remember: be excellent to each other.

You Should Have Left: Kevin Bacon Stars In Blumhouse’s Latest Thriller

Blumhouse and Universal have released the first trailer for the upcoming movie that reunites star Kevin Bacon with David Koepp.

The official description reads, “Theo Conroy (Bacon) is a successful middle-aged man whose marriage to his much younger actress wife, Susanna (Amanda Seyfried) is shredding at the seams, frayed by her secretiveness, his jealousy, and the shadow of his past. In an effort to repair their relationship, Theo and Susanna book a vacation at a stunning, remote modern home in the Welsh countryside for themselves and their six-year-old daughter, Ella (Avery Essex). What at first seems like a perfect retreat distorts into a perfect nightmare when Theo’s grasp on reality begins to unravel and he suspects that a sinister force within the house knows more than he or Susanna have revealed, even to each other.”

Lovecraft Country Trailer: Jordan Peele and J.J. Abrams’ Supernatural Series Brings Real-Life Terrors

HBO has released the official teaser trailer for Lovecraft Country, its new series which hails from creator Misha Green (Underground), and executive producers Jordan Peele (Get Out) and J.J. Abrams (Westworld).

The series tells the story of Atticus Freeman his friend Letitia, and Atticus’ uncle George as they travel through the 1950s Jim Crow South in search of both Atticus’ father and a location known as Lovecraft Country. As the new trailer for the series indicates, there are the standard racists living in the world — but also possibly something just as monstrous and supernatural. The journey begins a struggle to survive and overcome both the racist terrors of white America and the terrifying monsters that could be ripped from an H.P. Lovecraft paperback.

Gundala: Explore Indonesia’s First Superhero Film!

From writer/director Joko Anwar comes an adaptation of Indonesia’s preeminent comic book superhero and his alter ego Sancaka. Well Go USA has released an official US trailer for the Indonesian superhero action movie Gundala.

Gundala follows the story of Sancaka, an orphan who lost his father during a riot, intertwined with Pengkor, an orphan who (also) lost his father during a riot. One got struck by lightning, the other got burned by fire. Starring Abimana Aryasatya as the heroic Gundala, and Bront Palarae as Pengkor, with Tara Basro, Ario Bayu, and Lukman Sardi. This is a badass superhero movie that fits perfectly into the midnight madness crowd that appeases both genre fanatics and arthouse lovers alike.
