Thor: Ragnarok Rumors and a Possible Villain Revealed?

Of all the upcoming Marvel films Thor: Ragnarok seems to be the hardest to find a lead on. Up until now most of the news for the next Thor film has been rumors. The movie doesnt come out for another year and a half so I suppose that’s fair.

However, the new rumor (which is most likely true, and they are just waiting to sign the papers) is that Cate Blanchett will be cast as the main villain – Hela, Goddess of Death.

First Wonder Woman Footage Spearheads Cast, Plot

Hey, Wonder Woman fans, remember last year? 2015 was scarce in news of the Amazing Amazon’s first feature-length movie. We covered here at Grizzly Bomb the available info at the time: Chris Pine of Star Trek fame is Wondy’s love interest Steve Trevor; actors Sean Bean and Eva Green were rumored as possible villains; and Lord of the Rings‘ Cate Blanchett was auditioning for…something.

Suicide Squad; New Trailer and Poster Amp Up Excitement

Worst. Heroes. Ever.

Last night Warner Bros. dropped the newest trailer for the upcoming Suicide Squad movie, beautifully set to Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody, which is now stuck in my head. The project is closing down for two months so that Nolan and Joy can catch up on the final four scripts. Westworld was first ordered to series in November 2014, and fans got a first look video from the series back in August. The series was originally set to premiere during the last quarter of 2015, but was pushed to an unspecified date of 2016. Now with the halted production, that premiere is looking closer to early 2017.

11.23.63: First Trailer For Hulu Series From J.J. Abrams and Stephen King

This February will mark the premiere of Hulu’s first big original drama 11.22.63, and they have released the first trailer. With its Back To The Future vibe (sans the comedy and whimsy), this Stephen King/J.J. Abrams co-production is an odd choice for the small screen, but one the entire production team feels confident about.

We were given a small tease in the form of production stills via J.J. Abrams’ company Bad Robot, but we now have our first trailer.
