Tom Hardy Stars In The First Trailer For Taboo

I am a very dangerous man to know.

Tom Hardy goes into the wild and comes back to an even wilder society, now a changed man. Set in 1814, Taboo follows James Keziah Delaney, a man who has been to the ends of the earth and comes back irrevocably changed. Believed to be long dead, he returns home to London from Africa to inherit what is left of his father’s shipping empire and rebuild a life for himself.

But his father’s legacy is a poisoned chalice, and with enemies lurking in every dark corner, James must navigate increasingly complex territories to avoid his own death sentence. Encircled by conspiracy, murder, and betrayal, a dark family mystery unfolds in a combustible tale of love and treachery.

This is the first trailer for the upcoming FX miniseries Taboo.

New Daredevil Season 2 Trailers Feature the Rise of the Hand

You know, you’re one bad day away from being me.

Now less than a month away, Matt Murdock and company will again star in a marathon of NetFlix binge-bait. New Movies Get A Retro Spin With These Awesome VHS Cover Sleeves

Last year we had some pretty fun retro based movies come our way. Mad Max: Fury Road gave us some awesome action (mostly) without the use of today’s CGI effects, while Turbo Kid had splatter gore lovingly thrown into a great 80s techno-scored storyline. But is there any way these throwback themed movies could get more retro? How about having specially made VHS covers for them? I think that would do it.

Possibility of R-rated X-Force Movie

While it was obvious to both fans, and Ryan Reynolds himself that Deadpool needed to be R-rated. It was a risk that paid off for the studio. Making an R-rated superhero movie is difficult because it eliminates a large portion of the expected audience. Of course, there will be that annoying mom who takes her 8-year-old to see  Deadpool and then complain online about how it was too sexual or violent or whatever, but that’s a rant for later.

Aside from the annoying mother, Deadpool was a huge success in its opening weekend, which is great and paves the way for more rated R superhero movies. Of course the R-rating should be used delicately. Not all superhero movies need to be rated R, but now that we’ve had one, it’s definitely worth considering. Simon Kinberg, the producer of Deadpool explains that pretty well when he spoke with Collider;

Of Oz The Wizard; A Bizarrely Awesome Alphabetical Wizard Of Oz Movie!

The Wizard of Oz is a film that most people can remember with great clarity. From Dorothy and her ruby-red shoes, to the creaky Tin Man and friends, it is a delightfully bizarre and fantastical movie. But it does have its odd moments. Dissolving witches, flying monkeys, and cowardly lions are just a few of the many reality bending characters that appear. So how could this movie be made anymore surreal? What about an alphabetical version of this classic?

Matt Bucy (the creator behind the fan made Star Trek Continues series) set his sights on the challenge of giving the world an alphabetically friendly version of the movie. When I say alphabetical I mean strict alphabetical. Any noise, moan or groan is put in its appropriate place within the movies running time which makes for a confusing, bewildering and utterly crazy viewing experience. This is no short either, this is the entire film! People who suffer with flashing imagery may want to avoid this video, because it is quite disconcerting.
