Save the Dark Tower! Save the Dark Tower!

I’ve honestly run out of Dark Tower pictures from writing articles about how many times this damned is happening and then isn’t happening and then is happening again – 4/8/11, 5/6/11, 7/20/11 – but hey, there’s more casting news to report…. recasting that is. It would appear that ‘Maximus’ himself – Russell Crowe will be taking the place of Javier Bardem as the badass gunslinger and main character ‘Roland Deschain’. Batman Live: World Arena Tour Revealed…

Now it seems like ages ago when I first reported on Batman Live, the arena event that brings Batman and friends to your neighborhood. Most people were definitely put off by this announcement, especially during all the problems the musical Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark was experiencing.

Wow…um, okay. Check out this sneak preview of the show:

DCNu: 52 Brand New #1’s – Batman

Renumbering. It’s a tried and true method of bringing up sales, as well as introducing new readers into the story. Renumbering a popular title is most often done when a high-numbered series is receiving a new creative team, new storyline etc. Spider-Man has done it a few times, The Ultimate Marvel line has done it a few times, but DC has remained relatively unscathed by this trend.

Until now…

Grizzly Graphic Novel Review – Batman and Robin Vol. 1: Batman Reborn

In danger of sounding cliché’, I’m going to say it anyways: Grant Morrison has done it yet again.

He has time after time redefined comic titles, whether it be the X-men, Superman or Batman. He did it with Bruce Wayne, and now he gets a chance to do it with the newest Batman, Dick Grayson.
