Thor: Ragnarok – Valkyrie, Urban, Goldblum, and Planet Hulk?

“In Norse mythology, Ragnarök is a series of future events, including a great battle, foretold to ultimately result in the death of a number of major figures (including the gods Odin, Thor, Týr, Freyr, Heimdallr, and Loki), the occurrence of various natural disasters, and the subsequent submersion of the world in water.”

While Thor: Ragnarök still is a while away, there have been several updates recently, all following rumors of some hiccups in production. Around the beginning of the year we reported about the rumored, now confirmed, casting of Cate Blanchett as Hela the Goddess of Death.  Mark Ruffalo is also confirmed as he reprises his role as Bruce Banner.

Captain America: Civil War Newest Trailer Best to Date, Intros Spider-Man

We are fast approaching the release of the third Captain America film, which hits theaters in May. Today they dropped their latest trailer, and as well received as the last couple were, I would say this is gonna be the one people remember. This movie has fans excited for several reasons; Introduction of Black Panther, Ant-Man joining the other heroes, we got a glimpse of Crossbones, and perhaps the biggest headline – Marvel bringing home your friendly neighborhood wall-crawler. Doctor Strange: Benedict Wong Cast As Wong!

In a tale of two Benedicts, we’ve finally seen the addition of a key role in the story of Marvel’s Dr. Stephen Strange. Joining the cast of Scott Derrickson’s Doctor Strange  is Benedict Wong, playing the Doctor’s most trusted ally and companion, Wong.

Benedict Wong was most recently seen in Ridley Scott’s The Martian and Prometheus, as well as Netflix’s Marco Polo. He’ll be joining his other namesake Benedict Cumberbatch in the lead role, alongside Rachel McAdams, Scott Adkins, Michael Stuhlbarg, Amy Landecker, and Mads Mikkelsen in an unrevealed villainous role (which is more than likely the demonic Dormammu).

Thor: Ragnarok – Will This Team Up With The Hulk Mean The End of Thor?

There are magnificent things happening in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.  With shows like Daredevil and Jessica Jones on Netflix, Captain America: Civil War preparing for release, more Avengers movies in the works AND a third Thor movie, The Walt Disney Company has figured out that the biggest audience in the world right now is almost completely inhabited by nerds. A lot of those nerds have been die-hard comic book fans for generations.  Seeing their heroes on the big screen is something every nerd has dreamt about and Disney/Marvel have been making those dreams come true.
