I saw Captain America: Civil War opening night and despite popular opinion, I was a bit disappointed.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s leaps and bounds better than the majority of other Marvel Cinematic Universe films, but I think the hype got to me and I left a little underwhelmed. So, if you loved it (and you probably did), don’t yell at me, I loved it too, my disappointment couldn’t outweigh my enjoyment. But I do have a few things I’d like to address…

Last night I was invited to participate in a discussion about the Marvel Cinematic Universe to this point, and how it’s been used to set up the events in the upcoming Captain America: Civil War.
As Civil War is one of the most anticipated movies of the year, the guys over at Culture Junkies have devoted the entire week to topics surrounding the film. I was happy to be involved.

We are fast approaching the release of the third Captain America film, which hits theaters in May. Today they dropped their latest trailer, and as well received as the last couple were, I would say this is gonna be the one people remember. MCU fans have been desperately waiting for any promotion for the new Captain America: Civil War movie, set to release in May of next year. When I say desperate, I really do mean desperate. Since D23, Disney and Marvel have kept the trailer on lockdown like it was the Manhattan Project and this was 1942. So understandably, anything “leaked” or released is Christmas for any MCU fan.
