In a surprise to a lot of people, Marvel and Disney released the official trailer for Avengers: Endgame, giving us our biggest look yet at the most anticipated film of the year. Our surviving heroes — Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Hawkeye, War Machine, Thor, Nebula, Rocket, and Ant-Man — gear up for battle against Thanos and they happen to be joined by a now, newly familiar face.
We are fast approaching the release of the third Captain America film, which hits theaters in May. Today they dropped their latest trailer, and as well received as the last couple were, I would say this is gonna be the one people remember. This movie has fans excited for several reasons; Introduction of Black Panther, Ant-Man joining the other heroes, we got a glimpse of Crossbones, and perhaps the biggest headline – Marvel bringing home your friendly neighborhood wall-crawler. And this trailer marks the first time we’ve seen the webhead. Check it out…
We haven’t heard too much film news from Marvel Studios lately besides constant rumors and discussions revolving around Captain America: Civil War. So when they announced even more movies to their upcoming slate of films it came with a feeling of “about damn time.”
They opened thier wave of announcements by first confirming we will be seeing an Ant-Man sequel in 2018. With the success of what most were predicting to be Marvel’s first flop, there was no doubt we would eventually see a sequel, but the announced title for the sequel is very interesting.
With Avengers: Age of Ultron surfacing in less than two weeks and a sea of hungry fan boys and gals waiting with baited breath, Marvel has finally bestowed the second Ant-Man trailer on us, and needless to say, we’re buzzing about it.
“It’s a good time to be a comic fan.”
I find myself making the above statement more and more every month, but it’s the truth. There is no better time than now to love comics, because there are so many avenues available to enjoy the characters and stories. Great comics coming from great creators, a new era of fresh TV adaptations, and an unprecedented slate of films heading to the big screen are all a part of what make this a damn good time to be a Marvel and DC comic fan.
